I visited Mui Ne last year and didn’t really like the sand dunes- it was just another touristy spot but I actually liked the city. Had a lovely time there. Thank you for sharing this and bringing back some nice memories.

In reply to The Travel Bunny. If you choose one of the seafood restaurants in Mui Ne, you have a high chance of eating next to the ocean and also in an open space. It's a lovely way to enjoy dinner.

Mui Ne has always intrigued me, though I myself have never been there even when I had been to Vietnam. But, maybe some other time I would surely visit this lovely place that has sand dunes as well as beaches. The sand sculpture park looks really interesting. I would spend a good relaxing day in the beaches and enjoy Thai-style rolled ice cream as you did. Oh yes, when in Vietnam, you surely cannot miss banh mi.

Oh, wow, you’re making me dream of summer and the snow has only recently just arrived in my country. I’d love to go on a warm morning to check out the fishing village and find something good to eat in the evening. Somewhere outside, of course 🙂

In reply to federica. Federica - The Fishing Village is an eye-opening experience. On a return trip to Mui Ne, we hope we have the facilities to buy the seafood and cook them at our accommodations. Let us know when you visit Vietnam. We'd love to provide tips and places to visit.

That Thailand Style ice cream looks amazing! Yum! What an interesting place to visit. There is a fantastic beach but then, so much more. I love the idea of the Fairy Stream – walking barefoot in the river and seeing nature. I’d like to do that!
