Hello Fran. It looks like Brunei doesn’t require any QR code or COVID requirements for leaving the airport. They just implemented the e-arrival card which you can read about here: https://www.bruneitourism.com/covid19-travellers-advisory/

Hi Harold. Yes, 6.5 hours will be enough time for your Brunei layover. If you’re taking Royal Brunei airlines, you may consider taking one of the transit tours. Or, you can explore the city on your own. Have fun!

You’re welcome Joel. Yes, you can easily visit the city by yourself. The mosques will be beautiful to see in the evenings. Or, you can consider taking a transit tour through Royal Brunei Airlines.

Justine – I agree! It was a bummer to see that the stopover tours weren’t free, and to us, they seemed expensive. You can definitely do the DIY route which is more affordable.
