Hi Zack. Castle hopping would be a fun bucket list experience in Japan. There are over 100+ castles to visit – many are restored or just ancient ruins now.

Seems to be a common aspect of the architecture of the castles across Japan. Makes me really want to plan a trip to Japan that just hops from castle to castle!
