This is such an amazing list. I am always looking out for UNESCO heritage sites and it is so nice to find that they have an entire section dedicated to food. I’m glad you included Chengdu and Macau, the top culinary regions in China! I’m quite positively surprised to see Bergen on this list since Scandinavian cuisine seems to be largely ignored. I remember going there when I was twelve and I LOVED the Norwegian cheese!

Hi Daniel. French and Japanese food is delicious! At the moment, there aren’t any UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy sites in France. However, there is one in Japan in the city of Tsuruoka. Have you been to Tsuruoka before?
